English Translation of a soliloquy from a tamil movie DUET

m not sure if i can actually match the figurative meanings in english... atleast i ll try....


also, i am not a too very good english lyricist!...there s little oil left in this lamp....so, still just trying.. :)

thanks to my friend who happened to send me the tamil verses asking me for the meaning.

epilogue: this is a very nostalgic song that takes me through a tough emotional cycle reading through.. the figures of speech in taimz ecclastically unmatchable and euphemismatically superb..
